​In the impending futuristic world, robots and other synthetic forms scuffle in technology laden arenas while audiences cheer them on and make wagers on the outcome of fights. Sure, machines are being damaged, but robot battles may be no more controversial than monster truck rallies. Even if the equipment is intelligent, they might still have their memories backed up so that demolition of the physical being doesn’t mean complete demise.
